    Default Aldi websites

Hi everyone. I'm new here so I hope this isn't a repeat. I was noticing a few threads about Aldi's and I wondered if you've seen the website about Aldi's?
It's not mine, but I really like it. Under the section "the real deal" it talks about how Aldi's is actually a German company and that's why it has so many imported foods from Europe. Like their Swiss chocolates and Italian products. It also has menus and recipes based on all products from Aldi's.

Aldi has started showing commercials on TV. You can see a few of them on their website

    (Slight Hijack)
Speaking of the chocolate-if you haven't tried their Moser-Roth milk chocolate bars you are totally missing out!! They are $1.09 for a HUGE box, when you open it up, you have 5 individually wrapped smaller chocolate bars and they are DELISH!!!

I splurged during my first trip there last weekend and picked one up for me & the kids, needless to say I only ended up with one small bar and the kids divided the other 4.

As soon as you put it on your tongue it completely melts and it's sooo rich & creamy. My 15ds. said it tasted almost like it has a bit of caramel mixed in with it because it's so creamy.

They also carry a dark chocolate one as well.

That would explain why their price's are going up. They have to pay for that advertizing some way.

Default I never knew that they also owned Trader Joe's?

After reading the article I was suprised to find that the same company who owns Aldi's also owns Trader Joe's.
    Who wudda thunk it?

Yeah, I saw a couple on tv and I was shocked. I've never seen an Aldi commercial before.

Very good point. I have noticed in the last few months how much higher they have been.

I hear so many good things about Aldis. We don't have one here in Canada, at least not in our province.

I adore Aldis. I get inexpensive, quality food and get to take in my own bags without people thinking I'm a nut job! Huge progress in Alabama!

My local Aldi's only had 1 European candy bar.
I was looking forward to more
They did have a 25 cent bread cart, that was cool and the milk was $2.49. I had heard some stores had poor vegetables, but this store had a great selection, marked that it was Florida fresh and some of the veggies were enormous! But all in all, it was like a trip to Save-A-Lot for me, a few novelty bargain items, but I couldn't see myself being able to get a complete load of groceries there.
