    in dont like to wast space. first off i live in a chalet type home with a full basement well we turned the basement into 2 bedrooms, a laundry doom, a walkin closet and a small den and we have a bedroom on the first floor then the master bedroom takes the whole top floor we we live alone sooooo i turned the first floor bedroom into a pantry (still working on the shelves) to stockpile and next to the kitchen--i think ill be needing the extra space

    I bought shelves from K-mart that hold 2000#. Or do you intend to do built in. I use our MIL apt kitchen as a pantry. So convienent KWIM.

    im putting the shelves in permanent on the walls then a huge wooden shelf down the middle

    We use our 4th bedroom as our food storage room. The shelves are the industrial aluminum ones you can buy at Sams Club. We won's alter the room because someday it might have to be a bedroom again. Love having the space though otherwise I would be limited in what I could stockpile. Here in Florida we can't store food items in the garage it is too hot.
