We try to do every three thousand, but depending on what kind of oil you use, some say up to five thousand miles. I try to stay between 3 or 4 thousand, but not beyond that.
I read an article not long ago that said some automakers are recommending every 6000 miles now. But I still go every 3000, which reminds me, it's time.
I change my oil every 3,000 miles and I always use a good quality oil. I also use an oil pan warmer in the winter. It makes a big difference in how well the car starts and runs.
We try to get the oil changed in our vehicals every 3,000 miles but, I must admit, we do get a bit behind at times!
