Default I'm looking for some really great decorating sites

I was at my fav. junk store today and found a really, cool, old, heavy wooden, french provencial style bedroom suite (minus the headboard....    ) that I would dearly love to re-do for either our or dd's bedroom. The price for 4 pieces is $300 but I have several items I think I could trade her out for. Anyway I want to get a definite idea of what I would do with it first. Anyone know of any great sites that offer ideas on re-doing furniture?

*edited to add* Anyone have any suggestions on a style to work with it? I don't want to use the "standard" french provincial colors of antique-y white w/gold trim that's what's on it. I was even thinking black or something wild like that. I also love the shabbt chic style too.
