Do you change your own water taps

We do even though at times it takes dh much longer than it would had we gotten professional help. I'm wanting to change the taps in the bathroom and dh will be doing the work himself.

We do ours. It has never taken us more than about 45 minutes to do it- maybe we just have easier plumbing to deal with? Of course, the one I let DH do ended up with a leak in the line that he couldn't fix. I think on Henry Harrison's scale, it gets a one-hammer because it is pretty easy.

Oh this is so funny! I just read your post and at this very minute my dh is changing our bathroom tap washers!

Dh does that himself. We are looking for a new or good used bnathroom vanity and sink. He will install that also. He had no skills years ago but learned by necessity. /My hero!
