Smile Post your tips for making your house feel warmer.

It finally has gotten cold here. I was standing at my sink the other night and I felt a draft. Brrr... I took down my curtains and got my chaulk gun and ran a bead around the window. I was amazed at the difference chaulking around one window made and its a simple inexpensive diy project. I am going to go around the house and check the other windows too.

We caulked our windows, inside and out and I use a draft dodger on our front door. We need to weather strip that door as well. I open my blinds on the east side in the morning to let the sun in and on the west side in the afternoon for the same reason. This is opposite what I do in the warmer months.
