our carpet fiasco
So does anyone remembermy MIL's dog having the issue on the carpet in Ashleigh's room? We just ripped up that piece & got her a new bed. Eventually we were going to get new carpet....but it just wasn't in the budget.
Well, fate is determined to get her some new carpet.
We had the kitchen drain pipe break and it's in her room. Water was everywhere! Everything was soaking wet! So, we get my BIL plumber over here & he tries to find the break.....
here's what he found...............

Oh my, the dreaded cob job repair! No offense dear duct tape, you do work so well. Sorry about the extra expense.

Well, I'd be tempted to tell that story to the Duct tape people, tell them it is a testament as to how good and strong their product is!!!!!!!!
Tell 'em they can use the picture & story, & you wouldn't be offended if they offered to pay a small donation towards a new carpet

I tell you what, I'd like to give the old owners a piece of my mind, though.
They *DRYWALLED* over it!! I can't even believe it!!
Makes us wonder what *other* surprizes are in store for us in the coming years.
