One of my guys has been hitting up youtube videos to teach himself how to draw. We found a cheap used art set at the thrift store a while back. He has been using drawing pads from the dollar store to learn on and he bought himself some nice drawing paper books recently.
Drawing and art can be frugal, expensive or somewhere in between.
There is a huge range of price on supplies. And then there are how many supplies you want. I like color. Do I go for the set of 12 or the set of 144 or somewhere in between.
I am leaning toward a middle path but toward the frugal side.
Learning can be free online or you can get books and workshops. I see nice stuff on line but I will be trying a few inexpensive books. I generally avoid the pricey workshops.
