My Walgreens Deal!!

2 pro crest toothpastes
1 old spice body wash
6 cover girl lip glosses
Total after coupons 14.48........then a 20.00 RR kicks out
that's a 5.52 profit!
Now I know that you can actually do this deal cheaper, but I got stuff that I would actually either use or give as a gift.

After I done there, I went to my Dillons store and got
2 full size bags of SunChips
1 full size bag of Baked Lays
2 Loreal Kids Shampoo
1 Kens "spritzable" salad dressing
Total after coupons 4.48.....I saved 82%

I had a total blast doing this deal!

I've been trying to decide whether or not to bother with the P&G RR deal. I always have trouble using the RR's. But, You got some good stuff and I'm in serious need of new lipgloss.

I may try to play around with it while I'm at work today and see if I can come up with something good.

I totally get the whole "not sure if I am going to do the deal" thing. But I haven't done one in a while. The RR expire 5/18, so you can get a few weeks out of them.

Crest- 2/$3 after q
= 6.99 oop +$6 rr back.

Not too shabby for $1. I'll use the RR for one of the free after rebate items.

I did the P&G deal and bought:
6 boxes of swiffer dusters (I can get both kids to help dust with them~priceless) Okay, really $19.00, but I got $10 in RR. I then bought: 2 boxes of hair color, 2 bottles of Dawn, 3 bottles of bleach, 2 boxes of aluminum foil, 2-13oz. cans of coffee for an addition $1.58. Not bad for $20, I think.

call me dingy, but what's RR stand for??

the only thing I do at Walgreen's is the rebates, and I usually only get the free after rebate stuff.

I feel like I'm missing out on something really fun now.

RR is the register rewards that kick out after you buy a certain sale item.
This week one of the options is buy 9 p&G items, get 20.00 in RR, which are like coupons to use on your next purchase. It gets kinda sticky though, can you cna only use them for certain things.....

I went back again today and this is what I did:

1 Oral B tbush FAR
1 Orajel kids mouthwash FAR
2 dawn dishwashing liquid

final price after all coupons .94 (.88 of that was tax!)

I used one of my RR for this, and other coupons for the other items.
But wait! I will do the FARs, have them reload my card and make an extra 10%. It;s one of those deals that just keeps going and going and going....

That's what I will do, too. There isn't much FAR this month. Hopefully next month will be better. I am looking forward to submitting my rebate online, though.

I did the P&G thing too with makeup that DD needs for her dance recital, and make-up that I would wear. My RR don't expire until the 19th, so I think it is 2 weeks from the day you got them. I am going to go tomorrow and get the Crest toothpaste.. it is free (on sale 2/5....$3.00 off of 2 in ESR book and then I have 2 $1.00 coupons) plus I have a few other things to buy which will make 9 items and another $20. I'm going to also use my RR to buy the FAR items and then they go on my gift card.
I read somewhere else that the week of 5/18 eggs will be on sale 2/$3.00 which is a good deal around here. I think I'll save some of my RR for that. You can't use them on other P&G products or dairy or gift cards.. but it doesn't say anything about eggs.
