Thumbs up We got a free chest freezer!

We are getting a new (to us) chest freezer for free!!! It's the full size, 7ft long ones you could hide a body in if ya wanted to

My mom's store has to get a new chest freezer so we offered to haul the old one off for them for free. Saves the store from having to pay someone to haul it off and we get a bigger chest freezer.

Now I'm going to get rid of one of my fridges (the side-by-side) I HATE that thing, move the smaller chest freezer to the mudroom where my second fridge is and put the regular top/bottom fridge in the kitchen.

I'll keep the meat & bread in the bigger freezer and the smaller foods (frozen veggies, ice cream, etc) in the smaller freezer. And now we have room to order a whole hog!!!

    I can't wait!!!

That is awesome. I dont have any spare room for 2 freezers but I could really use it b/c after I got home from the grocery store last night, I used up the last of the open space in my chest freezer. It is full! I never imagined that could happen, so I know it will be a great thing to have 2.
