Non Stick Pans
Wasn't quite sure where to post this but thought maybe you all could help me find a good deal. I have cast iron, I have stainless steel and I also have a few non stick pans. The problem is buying non stick pans that don't lose their coating. My recent casualty is a "Simply Calphalon" saucepan that is used daily, stirred by a wooden spoon usually. The coating just started coming off and out it goes. Any such thing as a non stick coated pan that the coating stays put? I thought the hard anodized pans would last longer but I guess not. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I gave up on them and bought a couple of nice kitchen aid not non stick pans.
I was tired of wasting my money on the non stick that I have to replace every couple of years.
Just have to keep a closer eye on stuff so it does not get to hot and start to stick.Debra

I just buy a super cheap small non stick pan for eggs and if it gets ruined it's not that much money wasted. I don't think I'd use a non stick of any other size, I just like to cook an egg or two in one. Check out Consumer Reports or America's test kitchen.com America's test kitchen tests kitchen gadgets and items and gives good reviews.

I gave up and just started buying cast iron. If I find them at thrift stores, they are cheaper. And, cast iron never wears out.
