I do believe that's the Walmart sale flier.
They also have the prong folders for 15c/each.

I just saw this sale today on the website. you can go and view the flyer online.
I was surprised that the crayons were $0.22... They've gone up $0.02 in a year! I bought 10 last year @$0.20 each! Still a great deal so I'm going back tomorrow to get 10 again. Although, I'm debating on buying alot more. IF they keep going up $0.02 a year it may be worth my $$ since DS is only 4 and crayons will be a staple for him for quite some time.
They also have 1 subject spiral bound notebooks on sale for $0.05 each! I had to look at the price twice! LOL I'm gonna stock up on those too! I use them for work to keep track of things that need to be done.

I don't normally shop at Walmart, but I did make an exception for this sale I got 34 spiral notebooks ($1.70), 6 boxes of crayons (I'll probably get more of these), the glue, glue sticks and a couple folders.

I'm hoping Target will have their back to school stuff out. I need pencils. I missed the Staples 1c sale

I got to Walmart at 7:45. Their store opens at 6:00 am, and the sale on school supplies started today. The only 5 cent notebooks left were broken (the wire spiral part was ripped out of the holes)...there were 5 left. No more. I was pretty disappointed about that, but I did get the other stuff.

    Wow! That's insane!
Is that the only Walmart in your area? I went to our regular Walmart (we have a SWM too) and while there weren't any of the 5c notebooks in the stationary section, there were pallets & pallets of them in the back where they have the seasonal stuff.

No, but it's the closest, and I don't want to drive all over creation to buy notebooks LOL...last year Kathryn just used filler paper in a binder (as per her teacher's request), so maybe she won't need them this year either.

Sometimes I wish they'd put limits on the number of things you can buy when they have those sales.

I may need to make a run to Wal-Mart for the spirals. Besides the boys using them for school, I also use them a lot in my classes.

    Interesting FYI....

I went to our little regular (very old) Walmart first. They had two pallets full of just the notebooks. Everything else was stocked too, and at the prices advertised in the flier. 5c notebooks, 22c crayons/glue/glue sticks/, 15c prong folders.

Then we went to the SuperWM (HUGE, brand new) that's about 10 mins outside of town. They had NO notebooks. They had an empty spot where they were that was big enough to fit 2 small stacks and that was it. The crayons were 30c rather than 22c, the prong folders were 25c rather than 15c, etc.

I know a few cents more isn't a huge deal, but when you know just 10 mins away (and not even a huge metro area...center of town vs the outskirts of town) they are cheaper just chaps my buns.

If anyone sees a great deal on 5 subject notebooks, please let me know!!

I am keeping my eye out, but might miss it. And per my son's IEP this is what he uses as it helps with his organization. I hate to spend almost 5 bucks for one!
