Thumbs up Today's Deals at Walgreen's & Rite Aid

DH & I had a pretty productive shopping day. First we stopped at Rite Aid. We used a coupon for a $30 GC with a transfered prescription. I am on so many maintenance medications, I use this coupon every time it comes out and I use it t every pharmacy around since they all honor competitor's coupons. Plus, my insurance reimburses me for my prescription so no OOP expense for my meds

With the $30 GC in hand we get the following:

    3 Oral B Cross Action toothbrushes @ $6.00 ($18.00 total)/ coupon for B1G1 so minus $6.00 & will get back $10.00 with single check rebate(SCR)

Fructis Shampoo - $2.99/ $1.00 coupon that was on the bottle & will get back $2.99 with SCR

Fructis conditioner - $2.99/ $1.00 coupon on the package & will get back $2.99 with separate rebate.

We spent $18.38 of the GC on these products. We will get back $15.98 in rebates and still have $11.62 left on the free $30.00 GC.

    Nothing OOP for this trip.

    Next we went to Walgreen's.

    We got...
    2 Bio something shampoos - $5.99 each/ will be refunded 110% = $13.18
    Pert Plus shampoo - $3.79/ will be refunded 110% = $4.17
    Pack of light bulbs - $1.99/ will be refunded 110% = $2.19
    2 packs of Band Aids - 2/$2.99/ had 2 $1.00 off coupons = cost $0.99 for both

When all is said and done, we will only be OOP $1.29 (this includes tax). Plus, I got a $3.00 RR to use next time.

My day boils down to this...
Got everything mentioned above, only OOP $1.29 plus I still have $11.62 on a GC to Rite Aid and $3.00 in RR for Walgreen's.

Great job cashing in on those rebates! That is one of my next goals. Haven't done the rebate thing too much.
