You did awesome! I'm going through my coupons tonight so I can stop there tomorrow. Problem is, our Rite Aid is small and usually doesn't even get in the sale items. I don't know if you ever do their rebate program but I saw in our paper that they have Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner for 2.99, then you get a 2.99 rebate so it's free! I like their rebate program because you can input all your info online and don't have to mail anything in!

I see that now! I picked up a paper while I was there - I have a free trial of the Grocery Game, which is how I saw these prices in the first place (newspaper only shows walgreens for me, sheesh).. how long do rebates usually take to come back? I like free, even if it takes a few weeks!

I've only done it a time or two but I think they came within two weeks. I love free so I'm always watching their ad but as I posted earlier they are usually either out of the product or never got it in in the first place which drives me nuts!

Just curious---- why did you get two of the glucose monitors?? Was it because they were free?? Just wondering since my son is a diabetic, and we have WAY too many monitors... Even free, I don't see myself buying more... I get most of them free from his summer camps, and his doctor... Hope you don't mind me asking...
BTW AWESOME DEALS!! Coupons are great if you can use them to "get more bang for your buck". WTG...Last edited by momof42003; 07-30-2008 at 09:42 PM.

I have a handful of people in my "close knit" family who have GD (we thought I did until this morning, pregnancy has been a pain in my butt and they actually used the one I got for free at my appt, so I know it's a good one!).. so any one of them will get a brand new one (if they need one) or there is always donating too..

the rite aid FAR items work like this:
You enter your receipt number each time you make a purchase, it automatically adds up your purchases and rebates, and once a month (must have all receipts in by a certain date, sign up online and specifics will be given), you get a check in the mail. It comes on a postcard, you detach it and take it to the bank. I loved this program!
Much Much easier then CVS ECb's. You just input the info, and then all your rebates show up once a month. Great way to get FAR items."That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

Great deals! I was just told by my dentist that I need a mouth guard and saw that they have a good one on sale for $22.99 w/ a $10 rebate. Cool when it works like that, huh?

WTG!!!!!!! I have never thought to look a drug store ads, always thought they were more expensive. I guess I was wrong!! I will be stopping at Rite Aid today with coupons in hand. I will have to start looking at the sales ads from now on.
On a side note: I'm glad to see you so excited Hugxlaughxsmilexlove. You have seemed so stressed lately in your posts.Mandy
