Not as great as Walgreen's trip someone posted below BUT...
$33.37 spent on $ 77.66 worth of stuff at Walmart and Rite Aid...not counting the change from regular price on sale items at Rite Aid! Less than 1/2- not too shabby!
Got every thing from shampoo and hair color to deodorant to dish soap to cereal to toothpaste to laundry detergent...and a lot of stuff in between. As my grocer does NOT double or triple coupons, I am psyched to have gotten such great deals! I think I'm getting the hang of this- while it seemed to take so long to plan (matching up sale items, coupons, rebates) it seems worth my time for the $40+ left in my pocket.
May:
Coupon/drug store rewards:$15
$ Spent accumulating coupons: $5.99
YTD totals:
Coupons/drug store rewards: $759.04
$ spent getting coupons:$92.70
2011 total savings:$2068.18 2010:$1066.58
Meatless dinner: 13/52
Weight loss challenge:1.4/35
