Default Whole chicken for .79/pound at Safeway

I am told it will be this price until the end of the month. If you have the freezer space, good time to stock up!

I don't have a Safeway here, and it's times like this I wish we had more variety. I bought a whole chicken the other day, it was on SALE at $1.19/lb!

Great sale for those who can get to it... I agree, stock up!!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

We have whole chickens bogo right now and I am holding a rebate for $25 for chicken if you buy Budweiser products. That amount of Bud Light would sit in my fridge through the holidays and the various visitors. I could get some beer and 6 whole chickens for the price of 2-18 packs ~ approximately $30-35. *sigh* not sure if I want to do it though.

Someone on one of my other groups says Wal-Mart superstores have leg quarters for .50/pound. Don't have one of those in my area, though
