    Default A good shopping day!

I live in Canada and we dont get coupons like most of you do and they dont double anything! Today I went to Walmart and Sobeys(grocery) and spent $314.81. Yup sounds like alot! But....at Sobeys I saved $80.31 plus I got a coupon on my receipt for 9cents a liter off gas and 61 airmiles (120 gives me $20 off). At Walmart it was their anniversary sale. I saved $41.24 with discounts and coupons. I have enough TP and downy fabric softner and dish soap to last me about 6 months or more! Plus all the extas I got besides that. So I would have spent a total of $436.36 which means I saved $121.55!! On top of that I will save on my next tank of gas and I am half way to $20 off again! WOOHOO!! Plus I shouldnt have to shop for awhile....It was alot to spend at once but I got some great deals and I am proud of myself!

I always say it takes money to save money (ok I think the actually saying is to make money but humour me.... ). I think you did great. Not having to go to the store so often will also result in additional savings.
