Default Best Deal I Found This Week 12/20

We haven't been shopping this week, and we're living off our stockpile...although I do need to go and see what Christmas bargains I can pick up, while they're still available!

What have you found this week?

Goodwill'd it and found dh a brand new pair of Carhartt's for $6. That's a good deal here as our goodwill is sooo overpriced.

I'm going to make a greater effort after Christmas to cook only from our stockpile, especially the freezer stuff.

This week I found great prices on bread, 79 cents per loaf of Pepperidge Farm, which I froze. Making one's own bread is less expensive, but DH and I are both unable to use our hand-powered wheat grinder right now.

At CVS the Hershey & Mars chocolates are 2/$5 w/$2EB. I had a coupon buy 2 bags & get 1 FREE. So, they gave me $3.69 off (regular price). $7.50-3.69= 3.81 PLUS I have $2EB to use on my next trip. Finally cost $1.81 for 3 bag of chocolate! Love those kinds of deals!

    Went shopping today...

The best deal I got at a grocery store was $1 off the price of pasta, and the house brand ww penne was .99, so it was free.

At SA, there were two places where they'd put the cheaper Christmas stuff, and it was FREE, woohoo!

I got 2 purple plastic (to fill for a friend who LOVES purple) Christmas balls
a 12 days of Christmas candle
an angel candle stained glass thing
4 packages of flame shaped lights for a lamp

When I went to the store to get Christmas dinner groceries yesterday, I found, in the deep-discount bargain bin, the filters I use for my humidifier. They were on sale for .50 for a pack of three!! I snagged all the boxes I could find, so I'm set for filters for two years, at least!

I didn't do my normal Thursday morning shopping trip this week, with starting a new job and all...so I don't have a best deal of the week since I didn't shop! LOL...tomorrow, on the other hand, will be a different story... I have a couple great deals to go pick up with the new sale ad that starts (strange start date, because of Xmas) tomorrow. Some juice, brie, an awesome CVS excedrin deal, and a Hidden Valley/produce/chicken deal. It's the best ad I've seen in a few weeks for Publix actually... not an entire BOGO list of junk food for once lol.
