Default Do your Rite Aid deals usually work as they should?

Seems lately there is always an issue for me at RA- my UP rewards won't print, the computer won't count the ones I'm trying to use from that last trip (that are not expired) or won't take my manufacturers c's etc. This next week they have feminine products of a certain brand for $2/6, get $2 UP wyb 2. I have b1g1 c's, so basically, I'd get 2/$3, then $2 back, making them .50 each! There is a limit of 4 (pairs, I assume) to get the reward. I'm going to try it, but if it becomes a whole ordeal of my UPs not printing, I'm 'quittting' RA! It should not be so hard to use my 'rewards'...I never have such issues at CVS! Does anyone else have frequent issues with their system? Most of the time I'm told to 'call corporate' or I have to go BACK to the store get rewards that wouldn't print correctly!!!I'm finding it not worth the hassle lately, my next trip will make-or-break my RA shopping.

I didn't have problems with their system, but I did with the Milford, NH store next to Shaws, I posted about it.

Did you give up RA? What's happened (if anything) since you posted this?

My Rite Aid is great. I have had problems with UP's sometimes but I just point it out and they get it figured out. They are super coupon friendly.

I got fed up with RA about a year and a half ago and stopped shopping there. Every trip was a battle, every checkout a manager was called. I knew their policies better then they did, but they fought me tooth and nail so I just stopped going there. Im sticking with CVS now.

Me too- I've given up on Rite Aid entirely. My stock pile is large enough I don't even look at their deals anymore, just go to CVS. Not nearly the hassle RA is. I was using the one in Jaffrey, NH- no more.

I feel the same way about Rite Aid that a lot of people feel about Walmart.

ME TOO...........well, almost..........will go in IF I have a coupon
that DOES NOT have the up reward on it..........that is the biggest rip off I have come up against.........for someone that SELDOM
shops there. They expire.........and I probably would never get them used.

Still..............DO NOT LIKE THE STORE!!!!!!! Never look at anything else while there..............in and out!

I dumped Walgreens YEARS ago............they NEVER had the item and often the ounces were totally off............got tired of fighting with them about it.............

but they PRO-RATED a price on a Hershey bar when the ad ounces were different than what was on the shelf!!! (think that
    was my last visit!!)

RA is always my fourth choice, Walgreens my third, WalMart my second and CVS is best. I love their Extra Care Bucks and I try to spend them on sale items I need.

I find Walgreens is *always* out of stock. Even on the first day of the sale. So frustrating!

I've had an issue w/Rite Aid Up rewards recently. I lost my $2 mfg coupon since the item I purchased "wasn't" the right one. It was pictured in ad, but not listed. I asked for my money back & they offer to get the correct item for me, but I "lost" my coupon w/the earlier purchase. So, I walked out without the item or coupon.

I have been in there since, but the 2 week expiration on the Up rewards is an issue. I definitely prefer CVS. CVS will print EBs out if it doesn't print without major issues. Love there $4 off $20 coupons (or $5 off $25), the Beauty Club is great ($5 EB for $50 spent on beauty products) & the Green Tag pays you to use your own bag!

As for Walgreens, its really not close enough for me to shop there on a regular basis. I have had problems w/there program though.

I don't have a problem with coupons or the UP rewards, but have had problems with the rebates. They don't work for my local store! This store isn't recognized (the store number) so my rebates won't go through. I don't bother with the rebates anymore as a result, but will go if I can get a good deal on something else.
