unbelievable -not a deal
had to go to town so i stopped at sheetz for gas and milk and OMG it had risen from 3.50 a gal to 4.50 a gallon-looks like I'll be getting dried milk next time to wally world super center
its better to have and not need than need and not have

For that price they should pour the milk in a glass for you. And then wash your dishes. Clean the rest of the kitchen.

funny, my sitter called me on the way to her house the other day and asked me to pick up milk...$4.50! wow! Now I know why I don't buy milk at gas stations!
Considering I pay less than $3 at Aldi's that was definitely a sticker shock moment for me.Judy

Milk is $4.50ish at the grocery store here!! Our dairy is always high for some reason.

Our milk is $4.00 a gallon at the grocery store and $4.75 at the gas stations. Unreal!!!

When I first read your sentence I was wonder is it $4.50 for the milk or the gas

I paid $6 a gallon for organic the other day. Luckily for us we don't use too much milk...Frugalista Mama to DD 12 & DS 8

Unfortunately, I agree.
Many of the ranchers have sold off their beef cattle as they couldn't afford the feed etc. The same for many Dairy cattle also went to auction, so people will see cheap beef briefly then....sky is the limit as they can't replace most herds for many years. So price of milk will be high...

Sounds like the California cows are not so happy with the price for their goods any more LOL!! Being from Wisconsin, I grew up on a dairy farm so now that commercial always makes me think - really? are cows happy anywhere?
Thankfully, this month our best mini-mart is selling milk for $2.29/gallon. I've talked about figuring out how to freeze it at that price but have yet to do so.
We call milk "liquid gold" at our house - we go thru more than a gallon a day..... eek.3/26 Afghan #3: 58 done of 191 rows
