    Talking Yesterday and today shopping and spent.....

    Well I must confess when I was working I was not as thrifty as I should have been but now....its an obsession I am on a mission to FILL the pantry cabinet hubby bought me!!
    I hit Vons twice yeterday and once so far today(headin before school 1 more time) I got:
    6 dentyne ice gum
    6 trident gum
    2 eclipse mints
    2 juicy juice
    9 del monte natural fruit cups
    2 dannon fruit fusion
    3 oxy palmolive
    6 pasta roni
    2 mazolla oil
    4 hot pockets
    Spent total of 3.62 saved 47.48
    Then hit stater bros 2 times yesterday 1 time today got:
    5 boxes Kelloggs cionnamon krunch
    9 wish bone dressings
    1 jenos pizza(had a craving...lmao)
    3 Intuition razors
    Spent 4.85 saved 31.40

    Ok. How did you do that Denise? Do you use coupons or do the stores have those saver cards?

    All of the above and double on 1 like coupon! I hit Ralphs that night too. Wanted to add for .87 I got:
    2 Jose Ole' mini burritos
    2 Tropicanna lemonade 2 lt
    2 Bushs refried beans
    1 Lenders bagels
    5 bandaids
    I think thats it

    I can't get quite that good of deals, because of the sales tax in Kansas. We pay 6.3% on the amount BEFORE coupons which I think is rather unfair.

    We are taxed 8.25% on non-food and soda here. It sucks I agree!!

    Wow! that is soo cool. Don't you have to go in many times becuase they only let you use 1 or 2 coupons at a time.
    Do they still do that?
    I used to live in Orange county, CA
    and before i came out here i hated going in back and forth.
