Thumbs up Got a nice little surprise in the mail.~Updated~

Yesterday I went to my grocery stores (Price Chopper)website & sent them an e-mail concerning a jar of mayo I recently purchased. Although the mayo was fine I don't like the new platic jar it comes in. Plastic is fine but these new jars have ribbing on the inside instead of a smooth surface and frugal customers like myself like to be able to get the every last usable bit out of the jar but can't due to this new jar design.

Well today I recieved a nice form letter and a gift certificate for $3. That was fast & sweet. Good for them & me.

Kewl Darlene. My Dh got a bottle of tea in the refigereted section of a grocery store and thankkfully looked at it good before he took a swig, he had already opened it so he couldn't return it to the store, it had floaties, so he called the manufacurer..Coca-Cola ans they sent him 30 coupons for Coca-Cola products worth a total of $50 worth of Coke.

So yes it pays to give your feedback.

Neat Darlene, I was thinking the exact same thing the other day when I emptied a jar of mayo from Price Chopper.

Wow, that was really nice of them, especially since they didn't even make that mayo jar themselves. Good for you!!

I have found that it can really pay off to let a manufacturer know when you are not happy with a product. Or when you are pleased with a product as well. I have done both, and I usually get some kind of coupons for my efforts. I either call the 800 number on the package, or visit the company website.

Another surprise in the mail. This time a check for $3.50 from the company that manufactures Price Chopper mayo, Cains.
So for my 3 min. of time I was given $6.50, treated kindly & may have helped others if they make a change in their jar design. WTG Price Chopper & Cains Foods!
