Cheap (and kid friendly) lunches
I went shopping today at Walmart. In the frozen food section, they have a box of chicken tender and inexpensive bags of shoe string french fries (my fav kind). No coupons, these were as priced
Here's the prices and break down:
Chicken tenders 1.98
ShoeString fries .50
total 2.48
now, this feeds the kids and I for two days worth of lunches...which works out to .41 a meal for each of the three of us. And the kids love it!

hmmmm - wonder what the price is on tofu chicken tenders?!
I'm sure that probably drives the cost per serving up, huh?!
Sounds like Belle's idea of a gourmet lunch though!!

Great deals!
DD is on a french fry kick right now, so chicken nuggets or tenders and french fries is a pretty regular meal here, too.
