Has anyone tried Glad Press and Seal?
I did today. We had a coupon for it last night while shopping so we thought we'd try it out. it works well. A couple tips for use though.
1. the surface you are adhering the flim to must be dry
2. the surface you are adhering the film to can't be too porous (sp)
3. try to pull film taut before pressing it down to avoid bumps and folds in the seal.
Here's ds showing how well the press and seal holds water in to a container. He does seem a bit concerned, huh? LOL Good thing it didn't leak or he'd be a bit skeptical of helping Mom with more experiments, lol.~~ Missy ~~

I bought a roll to wrap the paint rollers in, between coats. I have also done the same with paint brushes. The paint can lids that have become, worn out from opening too much, too. I put some over the grout, in the bucket because we mixed too much. It works for a few days and works better that regular plastic wrap.
I also put it around one pound butter packages because they were picking up flavers in the freezer. I can pull out a bar of butter and reseal it.

Some families use it as "tegaderm" for chemo clinic visits, so of you ever need a short term skin covering, it works that way too.

I only like it for packaging individual pieces of meat before freezing. It doesn't work on all surfaces especially if wet and I haven't been able to reuse it, like to recover a bowl I took a portion out of.
