Thumbs up Great day at the Frank's going-out-of-business sale.

The Frank's Nursery store in my city is going out of business-- in four days, to be exact.  Well, after yesterday's fiasco with our Christmas tree missing parts and all, we had to go buy a new one, so we decided to stop in and see what Frank's had left.

We found a gorgeous 7.5 foot prelit tree-- it has white regular lights plus colored 3" ball lights-- for $149!   We also got two metal corner plant stands that are about 5' tall-- total $69-- and those were DH's idea, he pointed them out because he knew I'd like them. (And this is the man who hates to shop, hates to buy house stuff, and, oh, did I mention, hates to buy house stuff!)        Then, we got some hose parts and garden tools for under $1 each, three sections of greenery garland for $3.49 each, and two tall baskets to use as trashcans for $2 each.

I'm tempted to go back tommorow and pick up another Christmas tree for the basement-- they had some really nice smaller prelit trees for only $35.

Our truck was stuffed full~ but I think we got some really great deals.  And, if you read my other post from last night, this definitely helped my Christmas spirit!

Sounds like my kind of sale. I wish I had that pre-lit tree and you had a feather you know where.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
