    Default Frugal shopping day

    I took DH to work today, so I could keep the car (getting cabin fever!) Went to Walgreen's to pick up these deals:

    Act II Microwave popcorn on sale 4/$1 had coupon for $1 off 3, so free!
    French's French-fried onions sale 99¢ a can (limit 3) had 3 coupons for $1 off any size, so got 3 FREE
    Brawny paper towels sale 79¢, coupon for 50¢ off one, so only 29¢
    No Nonsense Great Shapes pantyhose (I need these for work) reg. $3.99 each, were buy one, get one free. I had 2 coupons for $1 off, so I got two pair for $1.99

    Total spent was $2.28 plus tax

    After lunch, we headed over to Goodwill to look around, and this is what we found:

    One pair of very cute (with embroidery and appliques) girl's denim overalls size 8 $1.00
    Two spring/summer dresses for Molly $1 each 2.00
    One Hard Rock Cafe kid's zip up hoodie (like new) 1.00
    One very nice girls heavy winter jacket size 10 2.25

    Total with tax was $6.61
