Default what kitchenaid do you have?

    and what attachments?

I'm getting the KA bug really bad. I've been looking on their site and there are just too many options.

I have a 6 QT PRO and I have ordered the meat grinder attachment. We like to grind Prime Rib in with our hamburger cuz it makes a killer burger and the KA grinder has fine grind like the butcher has.

I'm with you Sara. I'd love one too. I doubt I'd ever justify the cost of it though. I have a hand beater that beats cakes and mixes just fine, I have a bread machine for pizza, bun and bread dough. I'm envious whenever I see MarthaStewart or Nigella use theirs. I can just imagine that beauty sitting on my bench.

I also have the 6 qt pro and the meat grinder. We love it and it is well worth the investment if you make your own breads, make you own butter, etc. The grinder works really well too! We ground up some of the venison this year into hamburger and it's so good!

I have an almond cream 300 watt Ultra power KA with the 4 ½qt. bowl. (cost about $199)

    I have these attachments:

    Rotor slicer/shredder, food grinder & fruit/vegetable strainer

I love my KA and wish I bought it long ago. Well worth the money and will last for more than a lifetime. I shred cheese,  mix meatloaf, cookie & cake batter, make tomato sauce, grind meat, make dough...the list goes on & on. Great investment...did I say I love my KA?

We got ours for Christmas a few years ago. Dh found a grinder and slicer attachment at an estate sale (or in someone's garage when they were moving?).

I would like to suggest estate sales or auctions to make your purchase. Amazon had some pretty good deals on them before Christmas though.

I have the one that Darlene posted in her picture, but my bowl doesn't have handles. No extra attachments other than the three it came with. I was thinking of asking for some for my birthday, but I decided not to. I've been making lots of stuff just as it is.
