Product Recalls....

How often do you check to see if products you have bought have been recalled?

Me and dh were talking about it the other day so I looked on the Consumer Product Safety website for recalls and found that 3!! of ds toys had been recalled. I couldn't believe it...and these are 3 that I bought new..not at yard sales...

I took them away instantly and am sending for a refund...I just couldn't believe it.... I really didn't know that many products get recalled... I wonder if its because of one incident or if it takes more than one to be recalled.... I know that recently some baby swings were recalled after a boy fell out of it and had a head injury but they didn't have him strapped in...soooooo I didn't think that was the product but parent error...but all three of the toys that we had were product problems.... I guess I'm just amazed that they let this many unsafe products for children go out just to make a buck......

The really scary thing is that most people do not even know about the recalls until something bad happens to them or their children.
