Thumbs up Took advantage of the 75% off at WM & Walgreens

Today I went to Wm and Walgreens before taking the boys to the dr. for their physicals. Wt WM I found a climbing Santa for $3.xx. You hang the rope it climbs up and then it plays "Jingle Bells" as it climbs up the rope. I also picked up some 12 pk and 10 pk gift boxes. They only cost a little over a $1. I also got some jewelry size 4 pk gift boxes for a few cents. I was headed to the fron of the store when I saw a basket with deep tissue and heated massagers. I went to scan one and it came up $3.32, so I grabbed the only 4 that was left in the basket. I added them to the gift closet. I am sure that I can give them next year for Christmas presents to my FIL, dad, step-dad. I took one out of the boz when I got home to try and decided to keep one. I had to do DH's back, DS#2's back and my own!

Then I headed over to Walgreens and picked up 2 - gift wrap packs. They included 4 packages of wrapping paper, bows, and gift tags. I found the only 2 packs left that had paper that could be used for other holidays or special occassions as well (birthdays, etc.) They rang up $1.xx. I also picked up some Christmas cards for next year....let's hope I remember to send them. They were $1.xx. Oh, I found the cutest little stocking for Socks, our cat. I just had to get it. It rang up $1.xx too. I checked the fragrance sets because they were marked 50% off. I only picked up one Tabu set to add to the gift closet. It was $3.

All in all I thought I did ok. I am trying to get my gift closet filled up and at bargain prices!!

    Nice deals!

WalMart here is still at 50% off as of today and had very little left. I was shocked. Target doesn't go to 75% off until Sun. (or they might surprise everyone and do it Sat. like they did last season), but I doubt I'll make the drive there to check it out.

I hit Target yesterday, picked up alot in the 60% off range--Christmas ballet barbies for $2.80 each, Care Bear Cousins Lg w/ video for $7. 50, candies, 2 packs of air fresheners (spray) for .88.
I spent a lot on rubbermaid drawers and gift wrap containers to organize.

Great deals! I went and got a few gift wrap things and bags for 50% off, which beats paying full price but not as good as you did!

I just made it in a bit ago and got a few goodies. Walmart was pretty picked through, but Walgreens had tons of stuff left, so I replenished my supply of wrapping paper and gift tags. Target is still at 50% and they had tons left, so I plan on making a trip back there when it goes 75%. I did pick up 2 of the wrapping paper totes on sale at Target. I think those will come in very handy. I got one for Christmas paper and one for any occassion paper.
