    Default I Love Desitin Creamy

I realize that not everyone will be interested in this post, but if you have a baby, (or are about to!) you have got to buy Desitin Creamy!

Patrick recently came down with his first diaper rash and HOO-BOY! It was a doozy! Anyway, the Balmex wasn't cutting it and he's allergic to the cod liver oil that is in many of the diaper rash lotions, including Desitin. My sister-in-law and I were on the phone and she said she had a sample of Desitin creamy and that it didn't have cod liver oil in it. She brought it over. Even just the sample worked wonders! So, I bought some (I know...I strayed from my once a week shop, but my baby's butt was in jeopardy!) and he's almost healed completely in the course of 7 hours!

I am now going to include this in every gift package for new moms!

we like it. works great on Hannah's sensitive skin. On a side note...keep it well out of reach of the "family finger-painter" it's not so easy to get out of the carpet or upholstery!

I kept that when my son was a baby. Its good for cuts and burns and chapped faces too. It has a nice clean smell.

I love hearing raves about products. Does it wash off easily Amy?

Very easily and it's soooo smooth and creamy...not like chunky balmex. Oh, I can't stop thinking about a diaper cream! I've got problems!

I realize this thread is a little old, but I just wanted to tell you all that I sent an e-mail to the Desitin people (through their website, IIRC) telling them how much I liked their product. I got a free tube in the mail and a bunch of great coupons.

    Just a heads up!

There is also a form on the Desitin website to get a coupon in the mail.

When that failed us a couple times with our son we used Boudreaux's Butt Paste. That is definitely not creamy, nor does it go on easily, but it worked!
