Hit Walmart 75% off today
For the last shopping trip of the year, I hit Walmart for their 75% off on their Christmas stuff.
I hate shopping, period, but I have always been able to find things at their 75% after Christmas sale that I can multipurpose and use throughout the year.
Today I found:
10 cans of Tootsie Rolls that are cylindrical and double as banks (I'm sure you've seen them...I'm using them as favors for Julia's birthday party along with the Angelina Ballerina books I got for .49 each the other day)
2 quite large cranberry scented candles in glass jars
4 large plastic cups (I love to fill these with water and ice and drink, drink, drink)
2 Russell Stover Santas filled with chocolates
2 toothbrushing sets (one is Nemo for Patrick, one is the Little Mermaid for Julia: they love toothbrushing time and I think that anything that helps to encourage that habit is a good thing)
Had none of this been on sale, it would have been $25+ I paid $8.30. That's it. My no money spending days begin tomorrow! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Way to go Amy!! I love those little tootsie roll banks!
I hit WM 75% off sale today too. I love it when they reduce items that low! I bought some curly ribbon that had tissue paper that could double for Valentine's Day. I also picked up some candles and a cute singing Mr. Grinch. I love musical decorations. Just ask my kids. I set them out everywhere during the holidays. I hate dealing with the tree, but love the other decor.~*Michelle*~

I haven't been to WM yet. I bet there's nothing left. I don't need any more candy or decorations anyway. I'm hoping the baking goods are marked down like they were last year.

Great deals! I also hit the 75 percent sale, bought a bunch of green and red tins, tissue paper, bubble wrap and Wilton treat bags. Oh, and a cute 5 or 6 foot white Indiana fir tree with blue and white lights for 6.00.

Good for you! I did make it when it was 50% off (went the 26th)and got some good deals and the selection was really good. We're all set for a couple of years with wrapping paper and cards etc.

Hey great deals Amy

I went the 26th and got a few things on for 50% off, mostly Christmassy type stuff and few red, feather flowers for my red bedroom.....oooh la la.
Then I went back the day before yesterday for something for Gripey (a specific thing) and ran back through and got some small, red, glass balls for the tree, and found some dog treat stockings (with chew bones and treats) that were marked down and some small, red plastic cups and a couple of dog toy stockings for next Christmas. Thought my ddad would appreciate that for his dog for Christmas.
It was all 75% off and I spent about $10 total.

Good deals! I went to Walgreen's today to check out their 75% off. It was pretty picked over, but I didn't need anything anyways. I did pick up several rolls of the Christmas paper and used my gift card to pay for them, so cost was free to me.

I forgot to mention that I went to Target yesterday to check out their 75% off and people were grabbing the stuff up like crazy. I picked up some tissue paper for really cheap. It's blue with snowflakes and then just some solid blue so can be used anytime of year. I also picked up some Caboodles makeup at 75% off because it was in a Christmas themed package.
