None near me, darn.
Do you have to qualify for this somehow, or is it open to anyone? It looks like a great deal.

I was reading their website, there are no qualifications that you must meet of any kind, which is great.
It's not like our family makes massive amounts of money but all that for $25, I think I might get 2 lots.

Tracy - The location I go to is right on the border of the west side of Bethlehem and Allentown. Its right near the McDonalds on Union Blvd! Shouldnt be too far from your house!
You are right there are no income requirements which makes it really great and the people there are sooooo nice!
My son loves their chicken tenders!

I just got a call back from the Church that participates in the Angel Food Ministries.... I am excited, she said they distribute the food on the 8th, 11th and 12th of March, that I had to come in and pick up a pamplet....
Good thing is, they are only down the block, so while my daughter and I head to Church on Sunday we will pick up the pamphlet then too.
Thank you so much for starting this thread, I can make that food last us 2-3 weeks.
BTW: We will be starting to go to Church at the Church that distributes the food, I spoke with the lady there and she was sooo nice and made me feel very welcome, I haven't been to church since I got married in 1998, but if it wasn't for God I dont think I would have been able to hurdle this obstacle that has been in my life, and I wouldn't have found Frugal Village and you wonderful ladies and gents here. THANK YOU!
God Bless!

Wow! That's a lot of food for $25 !
My friend in Indiana says that the 'dessert item' often turns out to be something like an 'Edward's Pie.' Those pies run close to $7 apiece at my grocery store.
It's funny, but my friend Sharon and I talk a lot on the phone. (I call her when it's free cell minutes). Wednesday our main topic of conversation was about Angel Ministries and SHARE.
We couldn't compare menus -- SHARE wasn't posted yet. But we talked about making freezer space for the orders we had coming in yesterday!2012 Knitting in progress

Angie, I guess you probably can and that's awesome!

Good thing for me is that's all I spend for the month and then for milk and bread and stuff like that, the Angel Food packs last me a month so for $25 that isn't bad.
I got my box on Friday for March and it filled my freezer, so I am good till I get my April's box. I might even splurge a little and get the springtime grille box too!
March's dessert item was a pumpkin pie (which is gone already) but everyone said it was delicious!

I don't think we have this in our area....but can someone (frugalmomof3?) tell me how you eat off this for a month??? Maybe post a menu...I know you said you spend less than 100.00 per month for a family of 5???

Cathy,
Well it's really easy to be honest, I have a stocked pantry, we eat:
Spaghetti with Sausage or Meatballs one day, then we have leftovers the next day, which makes it finished. That's 2 days of eating for roughly $5-$6 for 5 people.
I make chicken, rice and beans one day for approx $5-$6 and there is always leftovers so we eat that the next day... that's 4 days of food for a family of 5 for around $10-$12.
I usually have some chicken and rice leftover from the above so I make soup, chicken and rice soup with packaged veggies ($1) like carrots, some seasoning etc... That's good for 2 more days with spending only $1 for veggies, most times I already have this in my freezer so I spend $0!
Remember I just got my Angel Food and it cames with chicken breasts, beef patties, chicken nuggets etc, it will feed us for a week probably 2, just those 3 things alone with some rice or made as a sandwich with the french fries I also got from Angel Food Ministries. You have to remember I make leftovers, I dont throw them away.
Each month I mostly make the same things so it's easy for me to prepare meals, chicken, pasta, rice, beans, soup, sandwiches, etc..
During the week I dont have the kids home eating so I save on that, but they would eat PB&J without a problem!
I hope this helps!
