yesterday was the hubbys day off, so we took the kid to chuckie cheese, me to sam's and the hubby to gander mountain. while the hubby was checking out fishing supplies i checked out the home decor since we're redoing our living room in a camo and deer motif. (guess whos idea this was?) i have been looking for a door mat for the front door and found them to be pretty expensive for what we wanted, but i found one i really liked at this store but all they had left was the display so i went to ask about it. the cashier told me since is was a display she could sell it to me for 10% off. sure why not? i wasn't ASKING for a discount but if your GIVING it to me i'll take it. the stockman went to go get if for me and since it had been sitting under a table the whole time it looked perfectly fine, just really dirty and dusty, so he gave it to me for 50% off! i got the mat i wanted (its huge, it takes up the entire front door area) took it home and vacc'd it, looks brand new. 15 bucks saved, yay!
