$1.14 liter here and going up next week I heard again. There aplace her in PEI wher a gas station owner got gas stolen at the pumps 7 times in one day. Petro Canada. He went to the franchise of it and their not responsible for it. There was cameras and he knows whos been stealing but haven't heard anything recently if he's laying cahrges. Its so bad of people just waqlking away and not paying that our PEI goverment is thinking about getting everyone to get a credit card from each of the buisnesses to get gas or not get any at all for money. That aint going through I know it. Not everyone can get credit cards or special debit cards for gas.

Gas costs twice as much here in Finland as it costs in US. We donīt own a car though. We live in a city and travel by subway (usually) If we need a car, we rent. Most people have cars but we donīt need it.

It was $2.95 a gallon here on Wednesday. I told DH I would wait till Thursday to get gas cause it almost always goes down then. It did. I paid $2.83 a gallon on Thursday. Friday it was back up again. It almost seems as if they know people are running out of money on Thursday so it goes lower then goes back up again on Friday (payday). I wish we lived somewhere we could use public transportation.

Yesterday it was $2.89 when I went to my parents, later my dh and I went to get ice cream and it was back down to $2.67. Makes no sense.

I dont know how well this holds true all over but in Southern Ontario it seems that if you fill up between 7pm - 11pm its WAY cheaper. In some cases I've seen it drop 15 cents/L!
So what I usually do is scope out my local gas stations, which are en route to home. I have dinner, relax etc then head out to a store ie groceries or to the library and gas up on my way home. Its almost gauranteed to be 10 cents cheaper then it was in the afternoon. And I think its usually midweek when the prices dip - Tues to Thurs here.
Hope those tips help!
Oh and I check that gas buddy site too - helps me judge the area.2012: The Year Of The Purge!

We had to fill up this am to go to a jobsite an hour and half away. Cost was
$2.89 a gallon. Fortunatly the job was a time and materials thing so we can pass the cost on to our general contractor. But in the long run it comes back to us because the general passes it on to the owner and the owner may think twice about having work done the next time. Plus we see the prices go up at the resturants. No more eating out.
