I have not tried them (only line drying here), but a local t.v. station news did a review, and claimed that the balls worked and were worth the price.

    Hope that helps.

I saw some like these in Wal-Mart the other day, but they were nearly $10. I'm not sure I'm willing to pay that much.

My landlord puts two old tennis balls in the dryer with his laundry. He says they do the same thing by bouncing around.

I HAVE some, to be honest I have not noticed a lot of difference on the occaisions that I DID use them.

I have also used tennis balls, they do much the same job if indeed they do help.
I hang my laundry on and "indoor line", heat rises and after a 1600 a minute spin they dry overnight.
In the summer I hang outside.
Remember, people don't "invent" things as a charitable act, they want YOUR money!
IMO not worth buying as they don't seem to speed up drying time.
