I have a friend who is also a fellow garage sale junkie. She lives in another town and we are connected through my nephew who had the auto accident. Anyway she was here a couple of days ago and I mentioned that I had a large mirror if she'd like to look at it for her house. She took it and gave me a couple of things that I had liked when I looked through her garage sale (to have one of her own) pile. I got a really nice, old "our flag" picture in a frame and hammered brass planter with lots of greenery and flowers in it. I've already dismantled the greenery, washed it and remade a nice silk arrangement out of it for my antique fern stand. Looks very nice. Now, I wonder where I'm gonna put that flag pic. Oh, how bout the laundry room? Yeah that's it.
