Default *Update!*Anybody know the name of the blog that outs bad business practices?

I'm about ready to rent a billboard about Valor Telecom. We signed up for the DSL service about 8 months ago and I'm thrilled with that. BUT we were promised 2 $50 rebates on our modems (bought one for home, one for office) and both have been denied for different, non pertinent reasons. They say I didn't sign up for the 12 month service on one....which I DID and on the other othey say duplicate submissions can't be honored. WTH???? Different address, different phone number, different name on the submission form...? I'm ready to go postal (sorry Darlene) about this. I'm on hold now for about 10 minutes with them for the 4th phone call.

    *Update*
I was on the phone for almost 2 hours and believe or not I was very, very nice the whole time. I made 3 different phone calls and on the last one I was on with a customer rep from Valor (or ok now it's Windstream..as of 15 minutes ago). I told her that I wasn't going to drop this b/c we're talking $100 here and I had done it all right, made the contract with them in good faith and I was entitled to my rebates. She finally conceded and just gave me a $50 credit on my phone bill and then I had to be transferred for the other business dept.. I had to go through the whole rigamaroll again and she started telling me there wasn't anything she could do...lalalala. I told her the exact same thing and she did what the other lady did so THERE! I got my rebate after all, you scum sucking rebate redemption monsters. (wow, I didn't realize I had that in me there...sorry) Anyway it's now a done deal and I'm a happy girl yet once again

The moral of this story? Don't tell me you're gonna do something and then not do it! I mean come on now, I didn't fall of that turnip truck yesterday.

I don't know of a blog to post it on, but I would post it at planetfeedback.com.

Good luck in resolving this issue.

Your powers of persuasion were very very hard to resist. You wore them down and made them see they had no choice but to comply. I like that in a person.
