I'M GONNA BRAG!
Yesterday I took the girls shopping and I hit the Jackpot! I spent $35 at the grocery store and I saved $19 on groceries by combining sales and coupons. Not bad, but it doesn't end there. I'm a sucker for a good book and the grocery store had a clearance bin. I bought 4 books for 99c each. They were all originally $13-14 and all looked great! Also went to the local Dollar Tree and bought my 3 year old 2 Clifford the Big Red Dog puzzles and a Clifford the Big Red Dog window cling craft kit (originally $15) for a stocking stuffer, 2pk full size Play Doh (bought 2 also as a stocking stuffer
), froggy designed novelty socks(originally $5 at Sears) that will make lovely X-mas gift for my Grammy, a cute Halloween t-shirt for the baby and black socks for hubby. Found lots of other good buys for a $1 including full size boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Gushers fruit snacks (bought 4).
I spent a grand total of $60 and got at least $100 of savings.
I'm so proud of myself!
