target demographics??
I have a queation.....I have read where many of you find some really good deals at Target. We have a Target here, but I haven't seen anything other than clothing( one time)marked down. i am beginning to wonder if its b/c of our location that I'm not witnessing the bargains. What are your thoughts?? could it be that the Target here is just being stingy??lol

I find marked down items in the grocery and health and beauty dept. all the time. Go to target.com for printable coupons. Sometimes there are some very good ones, and you can combine the Target Web coupon with a manufacturer's coupon.

It may be your location........I have a Target right across the street from my apartment but I drive 5 miles down the road to the next town and shop at their Target it is bigger, nicer, and has a lot more variety of products....

It may be the location because each Target in our area will sometimes mark the same item down more or less than another. I found some Mossimo tees marked from $7.99 to $3.98 at one store and $1.98 at another. I look in all depts and usually find the best deals on the endcaps (end of the aisle). Found Colgate Total for $2.12 that had a bonus trial size tube and used a $1 off coupon.

I think it all depends on your area. I goto 2 different Targets and they each of different items marked down.

I always check the endcaps near the pharmacy in the two Targets I shop. One is a regular Target, and the other is a SuperTarget. I love SuperTarget! They have nice produce, a bakery, deli, and meat department. I get a lot of great printable coupons from the Target website, even for things like grapes, apples, baby carrots, artisian breads, fresh meat...
I would rather shop SuperTarget than SuperWalmart any day of the week. The grocery prices are just as low, and the store seems nicer. I love all the RED! They never hassle me about my coupons, and I use ALOT of coupons.

We only have a regular Target and I have found their prices to be a good bit higher than the Super Wally World. We are lucky that in the town next to ours the Super Wally World is super clean, friendly and always fully staffed. It only takes 15 minutes to get to it and the tax rate there is 1.5% lower than our town.
And when target quit allowing the Salvation Army Bell ringers on their property, I quit shopping there.DD (19)

Try another Target -- just to compare -- or ask the manager at your Target when they mark down prices.... never hurts to ask!
