Smile Have you ever heard of....

Gordmans? They are an awsome store (I work there) that sells everything way cheaper than anyother stores. For example Silver jeans run anywhere from $60-80 at the mall but we sell them at $30. That is still a bit pricey for me so I typically by the other ones for $20. They also have nice undewear (even thongs ladies) for 1.99. Right now we are having a huge clearance sale... I got my husband a Tommy Hilfiger button up shirt for $1 and some dockers shorts for $2.00. Plus they sell designer clogne real cheap and baby toys (fisher price etc.)

No, haven't heard of it. But we have a Value City and a Marshall's where I can get jeans for $13. My Goodwill sells them for $6-$12 and you have to sort through literally thousands to find 3 to try on.The savings isn't worth the time unless they're running a half price tag sale. I think it's a pretty good rule across the board for everyone to not shop at the mall, period!

Marshalls may be cheaper but Gordmans carries a lot of brands that you don't normally find at a discount store (such as silver jeans and shady ltd). It seems that Gordmans' clothes cater mostly to the young shoppers. I have tried real hard to find good deals on clothes and houseware stuff at Marshalls but for the quality Gordmans (where I live) seems better. When I buy stuff at value city a lot of there things have stains and holes in them (of course I live in hickville so it could just be my town). Another reason I hate this town is that their Goodwill is awful! I used to love Goodwill but this one smells like pee and is way over priced.

When I lived in Wichita KS (a zillion years ago) they had a Richman Gordmans (I think that's what it's called). Is that the same? They did have some really good prices, but nothing like what you mentioned above. I think it closed down before we left there.

It started out as Richman Gordman's in Omaha, NE 30 + years ago. They then had a seconds store they called the Half Price Store. They both went under and re-emerged as Gordman's
