    Talking Black Friday Thrift Shop Deals

    I shopped a 50% off sale for some things for me and Spent $31.25. I got the following;
    4 long sleeve tops
    2 sweaters
    3 pair jeans
    A Lands End sleepshirt
    A velvet dress
    a hat
    a belt
    2 leather purses
    12 yds of assorted cotton fabric
    4 yds of silk shantung
    2 yds of cotton/poly twill (tablecloth twill)
    It was so nice shopping just for me!

    What great deals, especially on all that fabric, awesome!!
    What are you going to be making?
    I like to read the thrift store finds posts. I also like to reportwhat I find ,
    but my family doesn't seem too interested some times.

    ~I don't have any specific plans for the cotton, but when I can get it for less that $1yd I buy buy buy! The silk is a fabulous light kelly green. I'm thinking of making a mandarin collar jacket for spring.
    Bummer about your family. DH used to be like that. After years of staying excited about my finds and brainwashing him about the prices he gets excited now! And I usually have to model everything I bought. So, maybe they'll come around!~

    I'm searching for felt to make dog tugs - and I'm still on the hunt for sweaters for big J ~ The hunt is part of the fun!
