Bath & Body Works Clearance!
I have been saving a $25 GC from MyPoints just to hit this years clearance, and I was a little disappointed. They didn't have as many good deals as they have in the past, and the clearance section wasn't as large as it was last year. I also was trying to get anything in "The Perfect Christmas - Tree" scent and was only able to find one thing in the whole store - a Wallflowers refills (good thing I had bought a Wallflowers unit this month!). I usually hit up two or three different store, but I was so unimpressed I don't think I will this year.
So, not as good as last year, but:
$94.50 Normal Retail Price before clearance and sales
$40.75 Final Price
(minus $25 GC)
Total Spent: $17.79 (includes tax)
They have a few Aromatherapy scents in Clearance (Sandalwood Rose and Orange Bergamot), one of the "Breathe" scents, and only a few of the True Blue Spa products. There are some of the Tutti Dolce products in clearance too (lip gloss and some kind of body cream).
Right now they also have some small products that are normally $5-$7.50 on sale for 2/$5. Good ideas for gifts.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)

The sales were much better online than the stores. I behaved myself and passed on getting more Vanilla Bean Noel shower gel, I have enough of the lotion to last me til next year anyway.

OK...I LOVE THIS STORE!!! We don't have Bath & Bodyworks in Canada and so if I know anyone going into the states they pick some up for me. (At work, if 1 person goes to the states, they can expect to pick up stuff for every woman on staff). Last year when I went to Florida I picked up the vanilla scented cream and body spray and some of the black raspberry....because I am shopping with 2 children (3 if you include my husband) I can't really sample anything...can anybody recommend any scents???

I love Winter Candy Apple body cream - I just ordered 3 of them online on Christmas Eve, the clearance sale had already started.
“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Japanese Cherry Blossom
It's my favorite scent! I agree that their sale was not as good this time, although I did find two "Classic" scents that I love (Cool Citrus Basil & Lemongrass Sage).

~DH bought me TONS of BBW lotion as a birthday present. He did so well combining sales and coupons that he spent $80 on 14 bottles of lotion. Full price is over $135. I was soooooo proud of him! The scents I asked for were Moonlight Path, Cherry Blossom, Sensual Amber, Pink Grapefruit, White Tea Ginger, Magnolia Blossom, and Warm Vanilla Sugar. I love their lotion scents! I actually smile when I use them.~

BlackstoneMama - Wow, I never expected to find anyone that close to home on here! I'm originally from Sutton - I managed to make it up here to the "big city"
I hit up the B&BW in the Greendale Mall - I know that the Solomon Pond Mall had sold out of the "Tree" scent that I was looking for, and I didn't want to drive all the way out to the Auburn Mall. And I couldn't remember if there was one in the new Millbury Mall.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)

About the selection
I have a friend who works at B&BW part time. She says there is no rhyme or reason as to what quantities of what scents they send to stores. We have 2 BBW at our mall - one store had nothing I was looking for and the other one had it all. Wierd! They also do not know what they will be getting until until they open the box.

I was in Bath and Body Works today. I'm bummed because I can't smell anything. This horrible stuffy nose is making it impossible to smell anything.

Telephus44- Greendale is usually where I go if I want BBWs! Too funny! We'll have to keep each other up to date if we find good bargains in the area. ;-)
PS. I don't think there is a BBW in the Blackstone Shoppes in Millbury but its definitely close to where I live. I usually go to Target or Barnes and Noble there. I'm addicted to chai lattes at Starbuck's in Barnes and Noble.
