Anyone used Heartland America
I recieved a catalog, I've never heard of them, has anyone?
They have a dyson animal vac for $299.99, plus $13.95 shipping.
It states it might have a slight blemish, which I could live with at the price they have. I've wanted one for along time but can't find one under $435.00.
A friend just bought one from Kohls, she says the pet hair it picks up is amazing.
Does anyone have one?
you can find them at www.heartlandamerica.com

I've never used Heartland, but that sounds like a great deal!
My in-laws bought us one in August as a housewarming gift (we didn't actually get into the house until September), and they only paid a little over $300 for it. It was an open-box model, plus they bought another Dyson and a good-sized TV so they got a multiple purchase discount of some kind.
If you have the money, then go for it! My Dyson is the greatest vacuum I've ever had. I have the Animal model, BTW. It is phenomenal how much that thing gets off the floors! And it is extremely durable (I tend to be hard on vacuums). Since we have 2 large dogs and two cats, it is a blessing to have.

I also have the Animal Dyson and absolutely love it. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and it picks up the pet hair so much better than my last vacuum. I highly would recommend the Dyson especially if you have animals.

Another vote for the Dyson, it pick up hair and crud from my carpet like nothing else I have ever used. They are pricey - but well worth it.
Heartland America is a very reputable company, and they have been around for years. They are not small by any means - over 600,000 people buy from them annually!
They do sell closeouts and refurbs though - so don't expect any nice frills with the packaging or such. But that is a great deal on that vacuum!

I never heard of them... I was very lucky to get my purple animal Dyson back in Dec 05 for $150.00 (original price $600.00) it was a floor model at Best Buy's they wanted $400 for it..the manager of that department seen me and my Dh looking at it(i had wanted one since the first day they came out with it) so she came over to see if we had any questions..I told her that nobody will pay that price for a floor model..so she said well I'll take $300 for it so I got really excited and dh and I were discussing it and she walked away..when I didn't see her I told dh that they really are desperate to get rid of it (she said that it had been sitting there for quite awhile and and her manager wanted it sold) so were debating and I said to dh ya know what when she comes back I'm gonna offer $150.00 for it she can take it or leave it...Well she took the bate..LOL... I absolutely love mine..You can't go wrong with the price you can get it for..I say go for it..Good Luck!
