    Default CVS kotex deal

Kotex pads at CVS are 2 for $5
I had a $2 off coupon from today's paper and then they gave me $4 in extra bucks from buying Kotex.
Paid $3 and got $4 back. Not bad.
Just have to remember to use them by August 28th.

    Thanks for the info!

I have a question, since I haven't used CVS before. How did they calculate the $4.00 in extra bucks? If I bought twice as much as you did, would I get twice as many bucks? Would it be better to make two separate trips to get more?

I sorry, I don't know how they figure it.

I went back today and used a three dollars in extra bucks that I had and the $2 off from my brother's newspaper, paid $.16 and I got 1 dollar in extra bucks back on my receipt.

Normally the adds state that it is a limit one deal per customer. Since you have to use your extra care card to get the deal it keeps up with your purchases and knows when you have met the limit. It won't print out anymore ECB once you have met the limit.

Very rarely they will offer a deal where there is no limit on the number of items - like last year when they offered Pantene at $3 and you got $3 in ECB back - making it free. I was able to get over 30 bottles of the shampoo and conditioner for free. They had a similar promotion with Purell and ACT mouthwash all in one month.

The bottom of the receipt now shows when you've reached the offer limit for the week.

Thanks for the details! I only wish there was a CVS close to my home. I only go anywhere near one once a week.
