.75 batteries!!
I've been trying to stockpile more the last few weeks and hit the jackpot this week at Price Chopper. They have Energizer batteries on sale for .75, normally $2.99 for 4 packs of AA or AAA or a single 9 volt. I picked up 5 of each!!

Dang! I'll have to check ours & see if they have them. I noticed this was their 75th Anniversary sale, but I wasn't impressed with the sale prices at all. 75c batteries would make it a good deal...esp if I can find some coupons

Wow! You did get a bargain. If you had a coupon you would have saved even more.

That's a great deal.
I usually stock up on Black Friday. Ace hardware usually has some great deals on batteries.
I also found a fairly good deal, 24 packs at Advanced Auto for $3.99.
That's not too bad.

I sprung and bought the Re-chargable ones. It was a bit pricey at the onset, but the way batteries are used up and tossed out in my house they have already paid for themselves now.
