Kroger Shopping Trip 10/08

For $5.59 I got:

a bag of flour
a bag of cornmeal
a bag of maseca
3 boxes of stuffing
pack of spaghetti noodles
Pillsbury crescent rolls
pizza rolls
2 cans of chef boyardee

Completely free I got:
1 box uncle bens rice
4 listerine pocket packs

And, I got paid 10 cents to buy a jar of honey. (Marked down to $1, had a 55c coupon that got doubled)

I forgot to grab some ground turkey, so I will be heading to the other Kroger later today, and stocking up on some more free stuff.

I LOVE being able to double coupons!

My husband had a great idea for the listerine pocket packs. We're gonna grab a few each time we go shopping (which will satisfy our goal of getting 1 thing free every time we shop), and save them for Halloween. Then pass them out to any kids who appear.

Couldn't resist. Spent another $2.01:

3 boxes of melba toast
another bag of spaghetti noodles
snack pack puddling (butterscotch flavor)
chocolate rice crispies cereal
15 more listerine pocket packs (free)

It's insane how much stores will mark items down, just because the boxes are torn or dented. It's not as if the flavor of the food has changed at all!!
