    Default I have an idea . . .

Now you guys tell me what you think. I hope I can explain it in a way that makes sense, lol! Here goes! What if we had a place to post weekly store deals that we come across? For instance, Target, Walgreens, grocery stores, your favorite stores, etc. If you found some great deals you could share what you found. Maybe you got some things for free with coupons or for a rock bottom price and you could share that info. with everyone. Maybe this area of the forum could be broken down by store and you could just check on the weekly deals other villagers have found for the stores that you shop.

I know I have been trying to get started shopping at Walgreens and haven't got it down yet (the free with refunding thing), but I hope to in the new year.

I know AnnK is great at finding those great deals out there, maybe she would be willing to share what she finds? I will do the best I can too!

Do you think this would work? A good idea or not?

Sounds great! The appropriate place for that would be the Town Crier threads. I'll post the link below:

i am a HUGE cvs shopper (love those ECBs). Also, I worked for Walgreens for five years and can tell you many a thing or two about that store. I will definitely be more conscious of posting my CVS finds on here (love CVS!). - Not trying to bash wag (I worked there for a very long time) but I just tend to get alot more free stuff from CVS, I'm talking name brand, never paying more than 12cents for toothpaste kind of deals... oh yeah!

those are the kind of deals I guess I just don't see?? I'd be willing to play the cvs game if I could get the hang of it!

((and my MIL works for cvs, so you'd think I'd get the hang of it))

I'd be interested in reading the threads - hopefully I could add to them at some point.

thats it then. i will do a weekly CVS post! I'm excited! I shop CVS all the time. I get free stuff ALL THE TIME.

Ok, let me work out some scenarios tonight and I will post a "deal" tomorrow. You all will need the sunday paper (pref. two copies or get on board our coupon trains) and a printer. If you do not have a printer, I will be more than happy to mail you the 2/10's. I will explain this 2/10 thing tomorrow. AHHH! I'm excited. Also, if you dont have a CVS card, get one!! you can get one right at the store, they have them there so no waiting OR you can get it off their website, takes about two weeks in the mail.

I'm game. Post it in the Town Crier Forum and we'll find it!

I've never taken advantage of our Walgreens as they built it in a bad place to get out of any time of day but I will try it if there are good deals out there.

One of our local pharmacys switched over to a CVS but I've yet to walk in there due to being too tired once I make my rounds in WM, Smiths, and discount grocery store but I'm willing if it will save me lots!

Well, I just moved here 4 mos. ago and am still finding my way around . . .
I know we have a Walgreens not too far away (haven't been there yet), also Target, Walmart, King Soopers, Safeway, and Albertsons are the closest stores. I would really like some tips on Walgreens. I looked at the ad today and didn't really see anything great. Am I missing something? I think I need the EasySaver Catalog?

There are deals there but not every month is good. Some months are better than others. Last month was a good month at CVS.
