My good deal of the week
I have been looking for a new, short winter coat for 2 years. I had to toss my old coat when it became too uncomfortable to wear. The filling had matted from being washed many times. Last winter was mild, as was our Fall this year, so I got away with wearing a short spring coat. (I have a 10 year old long, wool dress coat that I wear to work.) I received $50 from my mom for Christmas, and decided I would see if I could find a coat for that price.
I stopped into JC Penney and saw short coats marked down to $39.99. (regular price was $190) They didn't have my size, but they had the same coat online at the same price with free shipping so I ordered it. The coat is so warm, but not heavy feeling. I am so happy with my purchase, and I have something to "show" for the $50 gift.

thats great!!! I too had to buy myself 2 years ago a new coat. the last one was over 7 years old from walamrt. choc brown. this one is from marks Work wear house, columbia caot , length to hip and in green and white. $69 instead over $100. It still looks great. and very warm.

Coats are so expensive...anytime you can get a deal on one, it's a good thing!
Just as my old coat was, literally, falling apart on me (buttons found in the car, in the kitchen, etc.) a friend gave me her old leather coat because she bought a new one. It was in great condition and I've been wearing it, now, for 3 years.
