Christmas 08 and bday shopping for ds DONE!!
I'm super excited! Just went to Wal-mart (even though I detest the place) to get a pair of cheap shoes for ds.
FOUND a bunch of toys on clearance and bought so much that I now have is birthday (in May) and Christmas shopping done!
I bought 17 items which totaled about 50 something dollars before tax.
Here's what I got for him:
Mickey and Minnie birthday toy $3.00
Mickey Mouse Headphone Ears that play music $3.00
Mickey Figurine $3.00
Mr. Potato Head Transformer $3.00
Remote Control Truck (which looks expensive) $5.00
Play doh Desert toy $3.00
Thomas tank toy $3.00
Play doh forest toy $3.00
Thomas friends train $3.00
Thomas friends train $3.00
Thomas friends train $3.00 (these are all different)
Pig Cell Phone $3.00
Diego 1,2,3 board game $3.00
Robot toy $3.00
Imaginext ship, action figure, and dvd $5.00
Thomas friend train $3.00
Toy (I'm actually trying to decipher the receipt and it just reads "toy") $3.00
Total: $54, I think. I've added it up twice and once I got 57, next I got 54.
It was funny because no one was in the aisle when I started shopping it, then all of a sudden it was packed and people kept looking in my cart like "you %$#%$#" I kept holding up toys and asking the baby if he liked what I showed him and then based on that would put it in the cart. I KNOW people thought he was so spoiled!!! Little do they know!
I DO want to say that ds got so many gifts for Christmas that I am going to alternate toys for him this year. Just didn't want that last paragraph to sound like he was deprived.

Awww... I miss when mine were into Thomas the Tank Engine! Now he is 15 and it is sooo much harder to shop for Christmas. Actually, he can be such a pill lately, I don't much feel like getting him anything.
Enjoy your little one!
