great deal

I took my mother shopping today and I, of course, hit the clearance racks and walmart. They had long sleeve and three quarter length t-shirts on clearance for 3.00 and jeans for 7.00. I got 7 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans. What a blessing! I needed clothes badly.

When I went to the check out the cashier was looking over my purchases closely and snapped at me "Where did you get these?" I said well on the clearance racks. She was visibly upset with me! Lips pursed she snarls "I just paid full price for these." Geeeeeeeeesh give me a break I just spent a hour going through the clearance racks twice, it's not like I switched price tags or anything like that. But I didn't say that to her, just smiled and said "There are more over there."

I was hoping my frugal friends here would be happy about my good deals 'cause that cashier sure wasn't. lol
